The Booster Club held their annual Spring Athletes & Coaches Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday, May 18th.  Lucy and crew cooked up burgers, made salads and more.  Looks like everyone had a great time.
     


The "Celebration of Christian's Life" was terrific.  The stories and poems moved everyone.  A scholarship is being setup in Christian's name.  All those who wish to contribute may send donations to his parents at 2 Butler Place, Ossining, NY 10562.  Visit Christian's Facebook page and leave a small comment click here 


 OHS has lost another child, Miguel Herrera (favorite color was green).  Miguel participated in JV Soccer, made his Junior classmates laugh and worked hard at 2-jobs.  His energy and smile will be missed by his family, friends and team-mates.  Please keep the Herrera Family in your thoughts during this difficult time.


CONGRATULATIONS go out to OHS Athletic Trainer, Luis and his wife Montse Iglesias who are new parents to Carmen.  Luis new little Athletic Trainer arrived Sunday, May 16 at 7:21pm.  She weighted in at 7lbs & 6oz is 19" long

The Booster Board has approved funds for the Varsity Baseball team for equipment and Varsity Softball program for a storage unit. 

1st Annual Ossining Track Invitational...was held Saturday, April 17th with 10+ schools showing up.  The weather was chilly and wet.  Lucy and Pit Crew kept the hot beverages and food coming.  Everyone had a good time! 

Boosters Host OHS Wrestlers and Vets from Montrose Vet Hospital.  This wonderful event is fast becoming a "MUST SEE and BE" event.  Please click on the video to see this great event. 

Winter Athletes Appreciation Dinner and Presentation...is always a special night for the Booster Club.  Lucy and Crew fed over 210 Winter Athletes and Coaches.  Volunteers got busy in the OHS Cafeteria at 3:30pm with a special menu.  After the dinner student athletes went to the OHS Library to listen to Wayne Mazzoni present, "Get Recruited for  College", a comprehensive overview for student athletes looking to play their sport in college.  This is Wayne's third visit to Ossining and everytime I learn something new. 




Thank you... Booster Members and Wrestling Parents for their help with the Veterans-Wrestlers dinner.  Everyone had a good time and the food was yummy!!!


The Booster Club provided funds to the Ossining Varsity Gymnastic team for audio equipment.  President Lucy Dubray presented the Ipod and Bose Audio System to Coach Mitchell and Captains Julia Faiella and Scarlet Ozuna.
